Group Classes

Why Take Group Classes?

At Pilates Unites, we are passionate about Pilates and its benefits. Group Classes are an economical way to learn the Method and get maximum results with frequent attendance.  (Group Classes are not appropriate for anyone with major medical conditions, serious back problems, pregnancy or osteoporosis.  We suggest private lessons in those instances.)

Apparatus Classes

Tower/Chair or Reformer/Tower Classes

Apparatus Classes

Our Apparatus Classes include Reformer, Tower/Cadillac, and Wunda Chair.  Classes are tailored to the group and are different each time. Utilizing the variety of the equipment, we incorporate the principles of Pilates in each class for maximum results.

Reformer Classes

Tower/Chair or Reformer/Tower Classes

Apparatus Classes

These classes are taught strictly on the Reformer and are appropriate for all levels.  Participants are led through a routine that strengthens, lengthens and challenges each participant.  Small props like the Magic Circle, small ball or bands may be used.

Tower/Chair or Reformer/Tower Classes

These combination classes include either the tower and chair or the reformer and tower to give a challenging, invigorating workout.  Participants will be standing, sitting and laying on the equipment to work the body in all planes of motion.  These classes are appropriate for all levels.

Pilates Sculpt Mat Classes

Tower/Chair or Reformer/Tower Classes

Sculpt—the ultimate full-body burn. Expect lots (and lots) of reps that work every major muscle group, plus some more traditional exercises like planks, squats, and even a push-up or two. Sculpt class will involve props, like hand weights, small ball, magic circle or a theraband.


Part muscle toning, part muscle lengthening, and part cardiovascular training, Sculpt is a sure way to improve your endurance, strengthen your muscles, and build major core strength.

Pilates Mat Classes

Pilates mat class will lengthen and strengthen you with traditional Pilates mat movements all while promoting better breath and flexibility.  Targeting the core muscles, the body is challenged and worked to get that "Pilates" burn.  Using only your own bodyweight, you will challenge muscles, build strength and gain a longer, leaner look.  This class is appropriate for all levels and abilities.  Props are sometimes used such as the foam roller, magic circle, sliders, hand weights or therabands. So no mat class is the same!
